If you already bought

Open the claim link from your purchase email (or the page Stripe showed after checkout).
Download your license file from that page (small file — not the Mac app).
Come back here and download the desktop app for your platform (Mac or Windows) + Setup guide.
Open the disk image, drag Atto to Applications (or your Desktop), then open it.
In Atto, click Import license and choose the license file you downloaded. That’s it — no Terminal, no folders to find.

Nothing to import? The button is in the yellow bar at the top of the app. If you ever need to place the file by hand instead, the Setup guide shows the .atto folder method as a fallback.

Mac — Apple Silicon (notarized)

Works on Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3, M4) with macOS 13 or newer. Not for older Intel Macs.

Current app build: v0.1.13 (build 23) · released 2026-09-20. Channel folder stays /kit/v0.1.0/ (channel ≠ app version); the installer filename now matches the app version. Open Atto → Home to confirm the in-app version, or use Advanced → Install update for the signed Mac updater.

Quick install tip (Mac)

After the download finishes, open the file, drag Atto out of the window (don’t run it from inside the disk image), then double-click. If Mac says it can’t verify the developer, right-click the app → Open.

Windows — x64 (Authenticode-signed)

The live Windows zip is v0.1.13 / build 23, Authenticode-signed via Azure Artifact Signing (publisher: Claudio Barone). SmartScreen may still warn once for a new publisher while reputation builds — if so, choose More info → Run anyway (not a refund reason). Verify the checksum on the Windows page. In-app updates: Home → Advanced → Check for updates.

Linux — CLI / invite-only desktop

AI helper for Cursor / Claude — not required for the desktop app. Buyers get that download from the claim page after purchase, not from this page. See MCP setup.

For the curious — why these files are public

Browsers sometimes scare people when installers hide behind a login. So the Mac app and Setup guide sit here openly. Buying still gets you the license file, support, and updates. Please don’t re-upload or share the kit as your own product.

Checksum file for verification: SHA256SUMS.txt (shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS.txt in the download folder).
